On 11 October 2013, we were showing both the large and the small ATLAS LEGO model during the Kulturnatten 2013 event at the Niels Bohr Insitute. In addition, we hosted a “Build Your Own Particle Detector” competition, were we – despite the late hours (6 pm to 12 am) – had quite a few kids around (as you can see in our little time-lapse movie below).
Unfortunately our helpers had some issue in handling the camera!? So some of the competition pictures are quite blurry, but here we go:
