- elongated tiles sit centred on the interconnect of four big tiles
- two units margin left and right of each line
- two units margin between the coloured and the white pieces
- one unit margin to the upper edge and between each of the lines
- stand sits centred right next to an elongated tile

The text for the items in the legend could/should be the following:
- green – Pixel detector
- red – Semi-conductor tracker
- brown – Transition radiation tracker
- orange – Electromagnetic calorimeter
- blue – Forward hadronic calorimeter
- black – Hadronic calorimeter barrel
- grey – Toroid magnets
- white – Muon spectrometer
