From 17 October 2014 to 19 July 2015 the Palais de la Découverte will host the very successful ‘Collider’ exhibition.
It was previously shown in the Science Museum in London and is currently hosted at the Museum of Science & Industry in Manchester.
For the exhibition in Paris we’ll be shipping one of the large ATLAS models to be part of the exhibition.

On 20 September 2014, we’ll have our first non-particle physics event at the Helmholtz-Zentrum Geesthacht – Centre for Materials and Coastal Research in Geesthacht. More Details will follow soon …
59 models world wide
After we recently finished the tedious work of picking out 23 models out of a huge pile of pieces, we are currently giving out the sets to all the new institutes. From now on, there are 59 of the large models out in the world (see stats page).
As part of these we have a few ‘travelling models’ that you can borrow, e.g. as part of a BYOPD event at your school, university or museum.
There are plans for a few events to come already …
Deutsches Museum Bonn in April
On 23 and 24 April 2014 we will have a two-day workshop for kids between 10 and 14 years of age at Deutsches Museum Bonn. It’s a cooperation with the Physics Department of the University of Bonn, which is part of the current special exhibition »Wolfgang Paul – der Teilchenfänger«, where kids will build a large ATLAS LEGO model.
More information (in German) can be found on the web site of the Deutsches Museums.
