We are happy to announce that, almost in time for CERN’s 60th birthday, we can now feature another great science Lego model on our web site.
The Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS) experiment made from more than 13.000 bricks, designed and built already some time ago by some members of the High Energy Physics group at the University of Maryland, is now listed with 3D models for Lego’s Digital Designer and a complete parts list.
Following the success of the ATLAS model, we hope to be able to also produce a few copies of this great model in the not too far future.
For now, there exists only one version, to be found at the University of Maryland.
And of course there is also a miniature version that matches the scale of the small ATLAS Lego model 🙂
